À propos
I then made a living from my writing, alternating between freelance work and management positions for various media, mainly based in London. I had the privilege (and it remains one) of accompanying a pioneer of the social economy in England, John Bird, an extremely atypical and creative personality. I worked in very different environments: a street paper distributed by the homeless, the world of finance, and the world of cinema. I helped to conceptualise new information tools, conduct major interviews and investigations, and paid close attention to the psychology of the fictional characters I created. I also worked with other authors as a script doctor. Underlying my own path is a creative, artistic sensibility that I express through writing as well as through other visual arts (painting, engraving, photography).
‘Delphine is one of the few people who really makes me think’.

After a major change in my life, combining births, bereavements, moving house and divorce, I opened my own door, that of an artistic guest house designed as a haven of peace and inspiration where I was entrusted with all sorts of ‘baggage’.
Over a cup of coffee, lives are revealed and unfolded. I listen again and again, because some people come back, in my opinion above all to talk and bathe in the human warmth that I hope to be able to offer them. Others stay for longer periods during residencies for artists and writers.
At the same time, I run writing workshops, enabling everyone to overcome the anxiety of the blank page. I also work with a number of artists, offering them my writing skills and my ability to analyse their artistic practice, which is always intimately linked to their personal lives.
Until one day, when something clicked for me… one of the regulars guests called me and said: ‘This has happened in my life, when can I come and see you? I understood that I’m expected to do much more than open a door, that ‘knowing how to welcome’ also involves life events and emotions, and I know just how important it is to be up to the task.
A poem by the Persian spiritual master Rûmî comes to mind, the first lines of which state:
To be human is to be a guest house.
Every morning a new guest arrives.
A joy, a depression, a pettiness
A momentary realisation comes
Like an unexpected visitor.
Welcome them all and take care of them!
Now that I had set my heart on understanding and supporting other people professionally, I began a five-year course of studies in psychoanalysis. At the same time, I carried out a so-called ‘didactic’ analysis. Today, I’m certified by the Institut Freudien de Psychanalyse de Provence (IFPP) – Edupsy, a member of the Fédération Nationale de Psychanalyse, and authorised to offer analytical psychotherapy and support sessions in Arles or at a distance. I also continue to train regularly in fields related to psychoanalysis, with the aim of constantly refining my practice and my understanding of the unconscious: hypnosis with the Hypnosalys Institute, and clinical sexology with Edupsy.

I also graduated of the École Supérieure de Journalisme de Lille, the Institut d’Études Politiques de Lille, the University of Kent (England) in International Relations and the University of Lille III in Information and Communication Sciences.
Lastly, I am a member of the Société des Auteurs Compositeurs d’Art Dramatique.
